Kalaki Collective collaborated with Noolu Collective to create SustainabilATTi - Chennai’s first slow fashion event. Fast fashion is one of the most urgent environmental and cultural crises of our time and yet it rarely gets addressed at the community level in a way that is accessible, hands-on and genuinely engaging.
SustainabilATTi is our attempt to change that in Chennai. It brings together three distinct formats under one roof, each designed to meet a different kind of participant ranging from students to conscious consumers.

A PANEL DISCUSSION ON ETHICAL FASHON
Fast fashion has a cost. We just never see who’s paying it. So we brought together designers, waste practitioners and cultural voices to ask the questions that rarely make it into mainstream fashion conversations - who bears the cost, what our craft traditions are telling us and what it actually looks like to dress with intention in India today.
Speakers:
Ann Anra, Founder of India Wasted
Purushu Arie, Fashion Designer
Thirupurasundari Sevvel, Founder of Nam Veedu, Nam Oor, Nam Kadhai
Moderated by Pranati Vijay, Co-founder of Noolu Collective

AN INTERACTIVE MENDING, PATCHWORK AND SCREEN PRINTING WORKSHOP
The Mending Workshop was a hands-on visible mending session where participants bring a damaged garment and leave with something repaired and more interesting than before. Rooted in the Japanese practice of Sashiko stitching and various other techniques, the workshop reframes repair as a creative act rather than a compromise. A live screen-printing station by Shashi Rajannah from Brat Lab was plugged into this session.

AN INTERACTIVE MENDING + PATCHWORK + SCREEN PRINTING WORKSHOP
Wasted 360 brought a curated thrift store to the floor - handpicked by Noolu Collective, so nothing is filler. Curated 10 slow fashion and eco-conscious homegrown brands set up shop - makers and labels who are doing the work, not just wearing the language. And when you need a break from it all - food and beverages with sustainable packaging were available on site.

Atti Culture brought the pulse to SustainabilATTi because a space built around conscious making should sound like something too.
Chennai's own Kelithee and Vaasi took the floor with live rap that is rooted in the city, sharp in its perspective and very much alive.
